Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust Dispute Reaches Supreme Court; Nirmohi Akhara Seeks Implementation of 2019 Verdict
New Delhi: The dispute over the alleged theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple and other alleged irregularities concerning the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has now reached the Supreme Court.
The Nirmohi Akhara has approached the apex court by filing a writ petition seeking judicial directions in the matter.
The petition urges the Supreme Court to issue appropriate directions for the effective implementation of the Constitution Bench’s historic judgment delivered on November 9, 2019.
It seeks enforcement of the landmark verdict in both its letter and spirit.
According to the plea, the objectives and true intent of the Constitution Bench’s decision have not yet been fully realised.
The writ petition has been filed by the former Ram Janmabhoomi litigant, Nirmohi Akhara, through its Sarpanch, Mahant Raja Ramchandracharya Atit Guru Mahant Raghunath Dasji Maharaj, seeking directions to ensure proper compliance with the 2019 judgment.
The petition has also requested the Supreme Court to direct that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust be reconstituted as a public trust, contending that such a step is necessary for faithful implementation of the Constitution Bench’s verdict.

नई दिल्ली, विशेष संवाददाता। अयोध्या राम मंदिर में चढ़ावे की कथित चोरी और श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट से जुड़ी अन्य कथित अनियमितताओं का मामला अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंच गया है।
निर्मोही अखाड़ा ने इस संबंध में रिट याचिका दाखिल कर सर्वोच्च न्यायालय से आवश्यक निर्देश जारी करने का अनुरोध किया है।
याचिका में सुप्रीम कोर्ट से 9 नवंबर, 2019 को संविधान पीठ द्वारा सुनाए गए ऐतिहासिक निर्णय को प्रभावी ढंग से लागू कराने के लिए आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश जारी करने की मांग की गई है।
साथ ही कहा गया है कि इस फैसले का अक्षरशः और उसकी मूल भावना के अनुरूप पालन सुनिश्चित कराया जाए।
याचिका में कहा गया है कि संविधान पीठ के फैसले की मंशा और उद्देश्य अब तक पूरी तरह साकार नहीं हो सके हैं।
यह रिट याचिका पूर्व रामजन्मभूमि पक्षकार निर्मोही अखाड़ा की ओर से उसके सरपंच महंत राजा रामचंद्राचार्य अतीत गुरु महंत रघुनाथ दासजी महाराज के माध्यम से दायर की गई है।
इसमें वर्ष 2019 के निर्णय का समुचित पालन सुनिश्चित कराने के लिए सर्वोच्च न्यायालय से निर्देश देने का आग्रह किया गया है।
याचिका में यह भी प्रार्थना की गई है कि श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट का पुनर्गठन एक सार्वजनिक ट्रस्ट के रूप में किए जाने के निर्देश दिए जाएं।
याचिकाकर्ता का कहना है कि संविधान पीठ के ऐतिहासिक फैसले की वास्तविक भावना को लागू करने के लिए यह कदम आवश्यक है।
