Delhi Homemaker Wins Rs 62 Crore Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Jackpot After Years of Hope and Persistence

Homemaker Kanika Arora struck the jackpot by winning the grand prize of 25 million Dirhams (AED)—approximately Rs 62 crore—in Abu Dhabi’s Big Ticket Series 288 draw, bringing years of hope and determination to a remarkable conclusion.
The winning ticket, bearing number 476107, was purchased on June 30 and emerged as the lucky entry during Friday’s live draw.
Kanika, who lives in Delhi with her husband, their five-year-old daughter and her mother-in-law, said the unexpected victory has completely transformed the family’s future.
Sharing how the journey began, Kanika revealed that her husband first learned about the Big Ticket raffle several years ago through YouTube videos and social media platforms.
Although the prospect of winning was exciting, the couple understood that luck played a major role. Even so, they remained committed to purchasing a ticket every month without giving up.
According to reports, Kanika’s husband initially registered the lottery tickets in his own name.
Later, he decided to buy them under his wife’s name, a decision that eventually proved to be life-changing when her ticket turned out to be the winning one.
Describing the moment she received the congratulatory phone call, Kanika admitted that she found it difficult to accept what she was hearing.
She said she was left completely speechless, and only after the reality slowly sank in did she and her husband realise they had actually become multi-millionaires.
The family’s immediate priority is to purchase a home of their own, a dream they have cherished for years.
They have also promised their young daughter a memorable holiday at Disneyland, and Kanika said fulfilling that promise is one of the first things they intend to do with their winnings.
Apart from meeting personal aspirations, the couple plans to invest a significant portion of the prize money to secure their family’s long-term financial future.
They also intend to create a strong financial foundation for their daughter’s education and other future needs.
Offering words of encouragement to people who regularly participate in lottery draws, Kanika advised them not to become discouraged.
She said success depends largely on patience and fortune, while expressing her belief that faith in oneself and trust in God eventually lead to positive outcomes.
Friday’s Big Ticket draw also created several other lucky winners.
Five participants from India and Bangladesh received consolation prizes of 1 million AED (around Rs 2.6 crore) each, while Dubai-based Indian resident Twinkle Alphin won a luxury BMW X6 after purchasing a ticket in her own name for the very first time.
Twinkle said the winning phone call felt unbelievable and filled her with excitement. She added that she and her husband have decided to accept the cash equivalent of the luxury vehicle instead of taking delivery of the SUV.
Following the latest jackpot draw, Big Ticket has unveiled its next promotional campaign featuring a grand prize of 20 million AED.
The organisers have also announced luxury car giveaways along with the launch of a new Big Spin Draw, where selected participants will get an opportunity to compete for prizes worth up to 1 million AED.

30 जून को खरीदा गया टिकट नंबर 476107 शुक्रवार को आयोजित लाइव ड्रा में विजेता घोषित हुआ। कनिका अपने पति, पांच वर्षीय बेटी और सास के साथ दिल्ली में रहती हैं। इस अप्रत्याशित जीत ने पूरे परिवार के भविष्य को नई दिशा दे दी है।
अपनी सफलता की कहानी साझा करते हुए कनिका ने बताया कि कई वर्ष पहले उनके पति ने यूट्यूब वीडियो और सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से बिग टिकट के बारे में जानकारी हासिल की थी। जीत की संभावना बेहद आकर्षक जरूर थी, लेकिन इसमें किस्मत का बड़ा योगदान होने की बात भी वे अच्छी तरह जानते थे। इसके बावजूद दोनों ने धैर्य बनाए रखा और हर महीने नियमित रूप से टिकट खरीदते रहे।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, शुरुआत में उनके पति अपने नाम से टिकट खरीदा करते थे। बाद में उन्होंने टिकट कनिका के नाम से खरीदने का फैसला किया और आखिरकार वही निर्णय परिवार के लिए करोड़ों की खुशियां लेकर आया।
जीत की सूचना देने के लिए जब आयोजकों का फोन आया तो कनिका को पहले यकीन ही नहीं हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि कुछ पल के लिए उनकी जुबान बंद हो गई थी। धीरे-धीरे जब उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि वे वास्तव में जैकपॉट जीत चुकी हैं, तब पूरा परिवार खुशी से भावुक हो उठा।

शुक्रवार के ड्रा में कई अन्य प्रतिभागियों की भी किस्मत चमकी। भारत और बांग्लादेश के पांच विजेताओं को 10 लाख दिरहम (AED) यानी लगभग 2.6 करोड़ रुपये का सांत्वना पुरस्कार मिला। वहीं दुबई में रहने वाली भारतीय मूल की ट्विंकल अल्फिन ने पहली बार अपने नाम से टिकट खरीदकर लग्जरी बीएमडब्ल्यू X6 जीत ली।
ट्विंकल ने बताया कि जीत की सूचना मिलने पर उन्हें अपनी खुशी पर विश्वास ही नहीं हुआ। उन्होंने कहा कि उनका परिवार कार लेने के बजाय उसकी नकद राशि प्राप्त करने का विकल्प चुनेगा।
ताज़ा ड्रा के बाद बिग टिकट ने अपने अगले अभियान की घोषणा भी कर दी है। नई योजना के तहत 2 करोड़ दिरहम (AED) का ग्रैंड प्राइज दिया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही लग्जरी कारों की इनामी योजना जारी रहेगी और बिग स्पिन ड्रा की शुरुआत होगी, जिसमें चुने गए प्रतिभागियों को 10 लाख दिरहम (AED) तक की पुरस्कार राशि जीतने का अवसर मिलेगा।
