PM Modi Urges NDA MPs to Reassure Students, Says Paper Leak Accused Will Face Strictest Legal Action
New Delhi: Seeking to address growing concerns among students over alleged question paper leaks and examination irregularities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Members of Parliament to actively engage with young people and reassure them that the government remains committed to safeguarding their future.
During a meeting of the NDA Parliamentary Party, now known as ‘Mangal Milan’, the Prime Minister is learnt to have advised party lawmakers to directly communicate with students and dispel anxiety surrounding recent developments.
According to people familiar with the discussions, he stressed that the interests of students must remain protected and that they should be made to feel confident about the government’s commitment to ensuring fairness in the examination system.
Referring to the investigation into the alleged paper leak cases, the Prime Minister reportedly said that those arrested in connection with the incidents would face the strictest punishment permitted under the law.
At the same time, he is understood to have cautioned NDA legislators to make students aware of what he described as the Opposition’s attempts to exploit the issue for political purposes.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come at a time when protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) over examination-related controversies have intensified across several parts of the country.
The issue also dominated the opening day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament on Monday, with Opposition parties staging protests both inside and outside Parliament over allegations of paper leaks and irregularities in the conduct of competitive examinations.
Even before the commencement of the Monsoon Session, Narendra Modi had referred to the achievements and aspirations of India’s youth during his customary address to the media.
He had highlighted the country’s young population as a driving force behind India’s progress.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to create greater opportunities for them while strengthening institutions linked to education and employment.

नई दिल्ली: प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में कथित प्रश्नपत्र लीक और अनियमितताओं को लेकर छात्रों के बीच बढ़ती चिंता के बीच प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (एनडीए) के सांसदों से युवाओं के बीच जाकर उनका विश्वास मजबूत करने और यह भरोसा दिलाने का आह्वान किया कि सरकार उनके भविष्य की सुरक्षा के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है।
एनडीए संसदीय दल की बैठक, जिसे अब ‘मंगल मिलन’ के नाम से आयोजित किया जा रहा है, को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने सांसदों से कहा कि वे छात्रों से सीधे संवाद करें और हाल की घटनाओं को लेकर उनके मन में पैदा हुई आशंकाओं को दूर करें।
बैठक से जुड़े सूत्रों के अनुसार प्रधानमंत्री ने जोर देकर कहा कि विद्यार्थियों के हित सर्वोपरि हैं और उन्हें यह विश्वास दिलाया जाना चाहिए कि परीक्षा प्रणाली की निष्पक्षता बनाए रखने के लिए सरकार हर आवश्यक कदम उठाएगी।
कथित पेपर लीक मामलों की जांच का उल्लेख करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि जिन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, उनके खिलाफ कानून के तहत सबसे कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
साथ ही उन्होंने एनडीए सांसदों से यह भी कहा कि वे छात्रों को विपक्ष द्वारा इस मुद्दे पर फैलाए जा रहे कथित भ्रम और राजनीतिक साजिशों से भी अवगत कराएं ताकि वे तथ्यों को सही परिप्रेक्ष्य में समझ सकें।
प्रधानमंत्री की यह टिप्पणी ऐसे समय आई है जब प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में अनियमितताओं को लेकर कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के नेतृत्व में देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में विरोध प्रदर्शन तेज हो गए हैं।
सोमवार को शुरू हुए संसद के मानसून सत्र के पहले ही दिन यह मुद्दा सदन के भीतर और बाहर जोरदार ढंग से गूंजा, जहां विपक्षी दलों ने प्रश्नपत्र लीक और परीक्षा प्रक्रिया में कथित गड़बड़ियों को लेकर सरकार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया।
मानसून सत्र शुरू होने से पहले मीडिया को संबोधित करने की अपनी परंपरागत टिप्पणी में भी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश के युवाओं की उपलब्धियों और उनकी बढ़ती भूमिका का विशेष उल्लेख किया था।
उन्होंने कहा था कि भारत की युवा शक्ति देश की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है और सरकार उनके लिए बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध कराने के साथ-साथ शिक्षा तथा रोजगार से जुड़ी व्यवस्थाओं को और अधिक मजबूत बनाने के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है।
