Prayagraj: Samajwadi Party (SP) president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav began his Prayagraj visit on Sunday by meeting veteran party leaders who had worked closely with his late father, Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The interaction is being seen as an important step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
According to party leaders, the Samajwadi Party has already started laying the groundwork for the next Assembly polls.
As part of this strategy, Akhilesh Yadav is reconnecting with experienced and senior leaders to seek their guidance, understand their views, and strengthen coordination within the organisation.
During the meetings, he also sought their blessings and discussed the party’s future course.
The discussions focused on organisational expansion and election planning. Akhilesh reportedly urged senior leaders to work together with younger party workers so that the experience of seasoned members and the energy of the youth could be combined to strengthen the organisation ahead of the elections.

As part of his election strategy, Akhilesh Yadav also held detailed discussions with several close associates of Mulayam Singh Yadav.

राजनीतिक हलकों में इस बैठक को 2027 के उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों की दिशा में पार्टी का अहम कदम माना जा रहा है।
