UPSSSC Recruitment Drive 2026: Over 10,400 Group C Vacancies to Be Filled Through Exams and Interviews by September

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has finalised an extensive recruitment schedule aimed at filling 10,445 Group C positions over the next four months.

The selection process, which will run from June to September, will include a combination of written examinations, interviews and medical assessments for candidates applying to various government departments.

The recruitment calendar received formal approval from UPSSSC Chairman S.N. Sabat on Tuesday, paving the way for a series of examinations and interviews to be conducted across the state.

According to the programme released by Examination Controller Subhash Chandra Prajapati, interviews for two vacancies of Instructor (Turner) and 13 posts of Instructor (Basic Cosmetology) will be conducted later this month.

Meanwhile, candidates shortlisted for the 709 positions of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard will undergo medical examinations between June 15 and June 20.

Interview rounds will also be organised for three posts of Instructor (Machinist) and 49 vacancies for Assistant Statistical Officer during the same period.

The commission has scheduled a written examination for 564 Pharmacist positions on June 29. On the same day, aspirants competing for 93 vacancies in the Combined Cadre of the Pollution Control Department will also appear for their recruitment test.

Candidates seeking appointment as BCG Technicians will take their examination on June 30, with 255 posts available under the recruitment drive.

In July, the commission will conduct interview rounds for several specialised instructor positions.

These include 13 vacancies for Instructor (Fashion Technology), four posts for Instructor (Dress Making), three positions for Instructor (Sewing Technology), and four vacancies for Instructor (Mechanical Motor Vehicle).

With more than 10,000 government jobs on offer, the upcoming recruitment campaign is expected to attract a large number of applicants across Uttar Pradesh.

The commission has urged candidates to closely monitor official notifications and adhere to the prescribed schedule for examinations, interviews and other stages of the selection process.
