Varanasi School Horror: Teacher Booked for Allegedly Burning Five-Year-Old Boy’s Private Parts With Heated Knife

A shocking case of alleged brutality against a kindergarten student has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, where a private school teacher has been accused of burning the private parts of a five-year-old boy with a heated knife after he allegedly urinated in his uniform.

The child had reportedly been refused permission to use the washroom before the incident.

Acting on a complaint filed by the victim’s father, who is an advocate by profession, police have registered a case against the class teacher, the school principal and the institution’s manager.

Investigators have initiated legal proceedings and are examining the circumstances under which the alleged assault took place.

The incident reportedly came to light after the child returned home on July 24 complaining of severe pain and discomfort.

Concerned family members questioned him, following which he allegedly narrated the entire episode.

According to the complaint, the father first attempted to resolve the matter with the school authorities, but claimed that neither the teacher nor the management showed any willingness to address his allegations.

Police officials said the child’s medical examination revealed a blister injury on his private parts, lending support to the allegation of physical assault.

Investigators are now recording statements of doctors and other persons connected with the case to establish the sequence of events. No arrests had been made till Monday.

According to the complaint submitted to the police, the episode unfolded on July 24 when the boy sought permission from his class teacher, identified as Preeti Kushwaha, to go to the washroom during school hours.

The father alleged that the request was turned down, forcing the child to urinate in his trousers.

He claimed the teacher became enraged, took the boy to another room, heated a knife over a flame and allegedly pressed it against the child’s private parts.

The complaint further alleges that she assaulted the child physically and threatened him with even harsher punishment if he repeated what she described as the same “mistake”.

The family told police that the child remained silent until his father returned home from work later that evening.

Only then did he disclose the alleged assault. The complainant said he repeatedly tried contacting the teacher over the phone but received no response.

According to the police, the victim’s mother subsequently approached the school principal, Hemlata Singh, seeking immediate intervention.

The complaint alleges that instead of taking action, the principal dismissed the family’s concerns and told them they were free to take whatever steps they wished.

The following day, the father personally visited the school hoping the management would intervene.

However, he has alleged that both the principal and the school manager once again declined to extend any assistance or initiate action against the teacher.

Family members have maintained that the alleged incident has left the young child deeply traumatised and living in fear. They said the emotional scars could remain with him long after the physical injuries heal.

Based on the complaint and preliminary investigation, police have registered an FIR under provisions relating to voluntarily causing hurt, causing grievous hurt through dangerous weapons or means, and criminal intimidation. The investigation is continuing.

Reacting to the incident, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav expressed anguish and demanded strict action against those responsible.

In a post on X written in Hindi, he said the alleged act was so painful and horrifying that its psychological impact could remain with the child throughout his life.

He added that teachers are expected to treat children with compassion and humanity and urged authorities to ensure immediate and appropriate action.

उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी से एक निजी विद्यालय में मासूम छात्र के साथ कथित अमानवीय व्यवहार का मामला सामने आया है।

आरोप है कि पांच वर्षीय बच्चे को शौचालय जाने की अनुमति नहीं दी गई और जब उसने मजबूरी में स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म में पेशाब कर दिया तो शिक्षिका ने कथित रूप से गर्म चाकू से उसके गुप्तांग को दाग दिया। घटना ने पूरे इलाके में गहरा आक्रोश पैदा कर दिया है।

पीड़ित बच्चे के पिता, जो पेशे से अधिवक्ता हैं, की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने संबंधित शिक्षिका, विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्य और प्रबंधक के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर ली है।

पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए विस्तृत जांच शुरू कर दी गई है और सभी तथ्यों की पड़ताल की जा रही है।

घटना का खुलासा तब हुआ जब 24 जुलाई को स्कूल से घर लौटने के बाद बच्चा दर्द और असहजता की शिकायत करने लगा।

परिवार के पूछने पर उसने कथित रूप से पूरी आपबीती सुनाई। शिकायत के अनुसार पिता ने पहले विद्यालय प्रशासन से बातचीत कर मामले का समाधान निकालने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन उनका आरोप है कि न तो शिक्षिका और न ही स्कूल प्रबंधन ने उनकी शिकायत को गंभीरता से लिया।

पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार चिकित्सकीय परीक्षण में बच्चे के गुप्तांग पर फफोले का निशान पाया गया है। जांच अधिकारी अब उपचार करने वाले डॉक्टरों सहित मामले से जुड़े अन्य लोगों के बयान दर्ज कर रहे हैं। सोमवार तक इस मामले में किसी भी आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई थी।

पुलिस के अनुसार शिकायत में कहा गया है कि 24 जुलाई को कक्षा के दौरान बच्चे ने अपनी शिक्षिका प्रीति कुशवाहा से शौचालय जाने की अनुमति मांगी थी।

परिवार का आरोप है कि अनुमति देने से इनकार कर दिया गया, जिसके कारण मासूम ने अपनी पैंट में ही पेशाब कर दिया। शिकायत में कहा गया है कि इससे शिक्षिका नाराज हो गईं।

आरोप है कि वह बच्चे को दूसरे कमरे में ले गईं, आग पर चाकू गर्म किया और उससे उसके गुप्तांग को दाग दिया। इतना ही नहीं, शिकायत के अनुसार बच्चे की पिटाई भी की गई और उसे धमकाया गया कि यदि उसने दोबारा ऐसी “गलती” की तो उसे इससे भी कठोर सजा दी जाएगी।

पुलिस के मुताबिक बच्चा पूरे दिन सहमा रहा और उसने शाम को पिता के घर लौटने के बाद ही पूरी घटना बताई।

शिकायतकर्ता का कहना है कि उन्होंने शिक्षिका से फोन पर संपर्क करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उनकी ओर से कोई जवाब नहीं मिला।

इसके बाद बच्चे की मां ने विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्य हेमलता सिंह से संपर्क कर पूरे मामले की जानकारी दी। शिकायत के अनुसार प्रधानाचार्य ने परिवार की शिकायत पर कोई संवेदनशीलता नहीं दिखाई और कथित तौर पर कहा कि उन्हें जो करना हो, कर लें।

अगले दिन पिता स्वयं स्कूल पहुंचे और प्रबंधन से कार्रवाई की मांग की। उनका आरोप है कि इस बार भी प्रधानाचार्य और विद्यालय के प्रबंधक ने किसी प्रकार की सहायता करने या आरोपी शिक्षिका के खिलाफ कदम उठाने से इनकार कर दिया।

परिजनों का कहना है कि इस घटना ने उनके मासूम बेटे को मानसिक रूप से गहरा आघात पहुंचाया है। उनका आरोप है कि बच्चा भय और सदमे में है तथा इस घटना का असर उसके मन पर लंबे समय तक बना रह सकता है।

पुलिस ने शिकायत के आधार पर स्वेच्छा से चोट पहुंचाने, खतरनाक हथियार या साधन से गंभीर चोट पहुंचाने तथा आपराधिक धमकी देने से संबंधित धाराओं में मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। जांच जारी है और साक्ष्य जुटाए जा रहे हैं।

इस घटना पर समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने भी तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी। उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया मंच एक्स पर हिंदी में लिखा कि यह अत्यंत गंभीर और भयावह घटना है, जिसका मानसिक प्रभाव उस बच्चे पर जीवनभर रह सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षकों से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वे बच्चों के साथ संवेदनशीलता, करुणा और मानवीय व्यवहार रखें तथा दोषियों के खिलाफ तत्काल और कठोर कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाए।
