PM Modi Hails Operation Sindoor, Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan in Address to IAF Personnel
In a powerful address delivered at the Adampur Air Force Station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday lauded the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its exemplary courage and precision during Operation Sindoor, declaring that the entire country reverberates with pride over the military’s achievements.
“From every corner of the nation, the echoes of Operation Sindoor resound — a tribute to your bravery,” said PM Modi while speaking directly to IAF personnel.
“When our drones and missiles hit enemy territory, they carry the message of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. This isn’t just a slogan — it’s a solemn vow that our soldiers live and die by. The valor displayed during this operation will be remembered in the annals of Indian history.”
A Crushing Blow to Terrorism and Its Sponsors
The Prime Minister declared that India’s military operations had given “sleepless nights to Pakistan”, asserting that the coordinated efforts of the Army, Navy, and Air Force had decisively neutralized threats and humiliated the Pakistani military. “The godfathers of terrorism have now learned — casting an evil eye on India comes at the cost of destruction,” he stated.
He went on to highlight that the Indian military had successfully demonstrated its strategic and technological superiority, countering false narratives, including Pakistan’s claim of destroying India’s S-400 missile defense system at the Adampur base — a claim India has categorically rejected.
Operation Sindoor: A New Security Doctrine
PM Modi emphasized that Operation Sindoor marks a shift in India’s national security paradigm, stating, “There is no longer any haven in Pakistan for terrorists. Our forces will not hesitate to strike at the heart of terror networks, wherever they may be hiding.”
He added, “We have sent a clear message — we will enter enemy territory if required and neutralize threats at the source. This isn’t just military might, it’s a reflection of India’s intent, policy, and resolve.”
Modi also invoked the spiritual heritage of India, noting, “India is the land of Buddha and Guru Gobind Singh Ji. But when the sindoor of our daughters is threatened, India responds with righteous fury.”
Strategic Address at Adampur Air Base
Modi’s visit to the Adampur airbase, which Pakistan falsely claimed to have targeted using hypersonic missiles, held symbolic and strategic significance. By standing among air warriors and soldiers, the Prime Minister reinforced India’s commitment to its defense forces and dismissed enemy propaganda.
Posting on social media platform X, PM Modi said, “This morning at AFS Adampur, I had the honor of meeting our brave air warriors and soldiers. Their courage and resolve inspire the entire nation. India is forever indebted to them.”
No Compromise on National Security
Reaffirming India’s uncompromising stand on terrorism, the Prime Minister stressed that “terror and talks cannot go hand in hand”, nor can “water and blood flow together”, suggesting that any dialogue with Pakistan would only occur in the context of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and not under the shadow of terrorism.
He further stated that no pressure or blackmail would deter India from protecting its people. “India will respond at a time, place, and manner of its choosing,” he said, underscoring that India’s retaliation will be swift, precise, and relentless in the face of provocation.
Recognition of the Armed Forces and Security Agencies
PM Modi extended his appreciation not only to the armed forces but also to the Border Security Force (BSF), police, and intelligence agencies, who played critical roles in both preempting and responding to threats during the recent operation.
Air Marshal AK Bharti, Director General of Air Operations, reaffirmed that all Indian military installations and systems remain fully operational and ready for future missions. He criticized the Pakistani military’s decision to side with terror elements, saying, “It’s unfortunate that they chose to support terrorism rather than oppose it.”
Aftermath of the Pahalgam Attack and Launch of Operation Sindoor
Operation Sindoor was launched following conclusive intelligence linking cross-border terror outfits to the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, where 26 Indian civilians lost their lives. In a targeted response, Indian forces carried out strikes on nine major terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, dismantling the infrastructure of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.
With the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, India has redefined its counter-terrorism doctrine, sending a clear message to adversaries: India will not tolerate terror in any form and will act decisively to defend its sovereignty, people, and values.
