RSS Expects Decisive Progress in Ayodhya Ram Temple Donation Probe, Calls for Stronger Safeguards at Annual Meet
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded its three-day annual Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak meeting in Karnataka on Sunday with a strong message on the alleged financial irregularities involving donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
The organisation expressed confidence that the ongoing investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the Uttar Pradesh Police would soon reach a decisive stage.
A statement issued after the meeting said delegates unanimously voiced deep concern over the reported discrepancies in the counting of offerings received through donation boxes at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
The RSS noted that the inquiry, initiated at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, was progressing and expressed hope that the probe would soon yield conclusive results.
Emphasising the importance of preserving devotees’ faith, the organisation stated that the Trust must ensure such incidents are not repeated in the future.
According to the RSS, maintaining complete transparency and accountability in the management of donations is essential to protect the deep reverence and trust that millions of Ram devotees have in the temple.
The alleged irregularities relate to the reported misappropriation of crores of rupees collected through cash offerings and other donations made by devotees at the temple.
The matter came to light in June, prompting an investigation by the authorities.
The annual deliberations were held in Belagavi and attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, and 226 delegates representing different regions of the country.
Senior functionaries reviewed organisational activities and discussed a range of national issues during the three-day conference.
Apart from the Ayodhya donation case, the meeting also examined several contemporary challenges.
According to the RSS statement, discussions focused on the ongoing Census exercise and issues arising from demographic changes and population imbalance.
The organisation also expressed concern over the increasing menace of drug abuse and stressed the need for sustained public awareness and de-addiction initiatives.
Highlighting its organisational outreach, the RSS said that during the past year it had trained 18,842 swayamsevaks through 83 Sangh Shiksha Vargs and 12 Karyakarta Vikas Vargs conducted across the country.
The statement added that the training programmes covered a wide range of subjects, including the daily functioning of shakhas, organisational methodology, village development, family awareness, disaster management and environmental conservation, to prepare volunteers for greater social engagement and national service.

राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (आरएसएस) की तीन दिवसीय अखिल भारतीय प्रांत प्रचारक बैठक रविवार को कर्नाटक के बेलगावी में संपन्न हुई।
बैठक के समापन पर संगठन ने अयोध्या स्थित श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं के चढ़ावे से जुड़ी कथित वित्तीय अनियमितताओं पर गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए विश्वास जताया कि विशेष जांच दल (एसआईटी) और उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस की जांच शीघ्र ही निर्णायक चरण में पहुंचेगी।
बैठक के बाद जारी आधिकारिक वक्तव्य में कहा गया कि उपस्थित प्रतिनिधियों ने श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर के दानपात्रों में प्राप्त चढ़ावे की गणना के दौरान सामने आई कथित अनियमितताओं पर गहरा दुःख व्यक्त किया।
वक्तव्य में कहा गया कि श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट के अनुरोध पर शुरू की गई एसआईटी और पुलिस की कार्रवाई आगे बढ़ रही है तथा निकट भविष्य में इस जांच से ठोस परिणाम सामने आने की उम्मीद है।
संगठन ने यह भी कहा कि ट्रस्ट की जिम्मेदारी है कि भविष्य में ऐसी कोई घटना दोबारा न हो, जिससे करोड़ों रामभक्तों की आस्था और मंदिर के प्रति उनका अटूट विश्वास प्रभावित हो। आरएसएस ने दान व्यवस्था में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही और प्रभावी निगरानी व्यवस्था को समय की आवश्यकता बताया।
यह मामला मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा नकद और अन्य रूपों में दिए गए चढ़ावे में कथित करोड़ों रुपये के गबन से जुड़ा है। इस कथित अनियमितता का खुलासा जून महीने में हुआ था, जिसके बाद जांच एजेंसियों ने कार्रवाई शुरू की।
बेलगावी में आयोजित इस महत्वपूर्ण बैठक में संघ के सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन भागवत, सरकार्यवाह दत्तात्रेय होसबाले सहित देशभर से आए 226 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।
तीन दिनों तक चली बैठक में संगठनात्मक गतिविधियों की समीक्षा के साथ अनेक समकालीन राष्ट्रीय विषयों पर भी व्यापक चर्चा की गई।
अयोध्या प्रकरण के अलावा बैठक में जनगणना, जनसंख्या असंतुलन से जुड़ी चुनौतियों तथा समाज के सामने उभर रहे अन्य मुद्दों पर भी विचार-विमर्श हुआ।
आरएसएस ने नशे की बढ़ती प्रवृत्ति पर चिंता जताते हुए समाज में व्यापक जनजागरण और नशामुक्ति अभियान को और प्रभावी बनाने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
संगठन ने अपने प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि बीते वर्ष देशभर में आयोजित 83 संघ शिक्षा वर्गों और 12 कार्यकर्ता विकास वर्गों के माध्यम से कुल 18,842 स्वयंसेवकों को प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया।
वक्तव्य के अनुसार इन प्रशिक्षण शिविरों में दैनिक शाखा संचालन, संघ की कार्यपद्धति, ग्राम विकास, कुटुंब प्रबोधन, आपदा प्रबंधन तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण जैसे विविध विषयों पर विशेष प्रशिक्षण दिया गया, ताकि स्वयंसेवक सामाजिक दायित्वों के निर्वहन में अधिक प्रभावी भूमिका निभा सकें।
