SP Targets Yogi Government Over Ram Temple Donation Row, Education, and Farmers As UP Assembly Monsoon Session Opens
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly’s Monsoon Session commenced on Monday amid noisy demonstrations by Samajwadi Party legislators who attempted to put the BJP government on the defensive over multiple issues, including the alleged Ram Temple donation theft controversy,rsy education, farmers, and the NEET examination row.
Before the proceedings began,n SP MLAs assembled outside the Vidhan Bhavan carrying symbolic props and placards while raising slogans against the state government.
Their protest centred on allegations relating to the Ram Temple donation case,se the education system, the condition of farmers and the alleged paper leak in the NEET examination.
As part of the demonstration, several legislators held donation boxes to symbolically highlight the alleged theft of offerings meant for the Ram Temple.
Others appeared with bandages and plaster casts to draw attention to the alleged police action against students who had protested over the NEET issue in Delhi.
The Opposition also sought to project concerns over education by displaying posters accusing the government of weakening the sector.
The campaign referred to the demolition notice issued in connection with Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur and also raised objections to what the party described as a reduction in the number of teachers in government-run schools.
Samajwadi Party MLA Ragini Sonkar said her party would demand a detailed discussion on the alleged Ram Temple donation controversy inside the Assembly.
She maintained that the government must explain the allegations linked to the temple funds while also answering questions on the condition of the education system and the problems being faced by farmers.
Another SP legislator, Sachin Yadav, reached the Assembly wearing a bandage on his forehead and a plaster on one arm as part of the symbolic protest.
He said his demonstration was intended to highlight the alleged examination paper leak and the reported lathi-charge on students who had taken part in protests over the issue.
Responding sharply to the Opposition’s campaign, UPUPn Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dismissed the allegations surrounding the Ram Temple donations.
He remarked that those accusing the BJP had not contributed even a single rupee towards the construction of the temple and accused them of displaying double standards before the people of the country.
Addressing journalists ahead of the session, the Chief Minister also announced that the long-awaited Outsourcing Commission would become operational within the next one to one-and-a-half weeks.
He said the government would ensure a minimum honorarium for outsourced employees while continuing welfare initiatives for Anganwadi workers,s ASHA workers, cooks and village chowkidars through allocations made in the supplementary budget.
Appealing for meaningful debate, Adityanath urged Opposition parties to allow the House to function smoothly and use the session to discuss issues affecting farmers, youth, women and economically weaker sections.
He said the Legislature remained the most appropriate platform for constructive deliberations and expressed hope that political parties would rise above confrontational politics.
Highlighting the government’s record on agriculture, the Chief Minister contrasted the present administration with previous governments.
He claimed that between 2007 and 2017 as many as 29 sugar mills had closed and 21 had been sold at very low prices.
In comparison, he said his government had released sugarcane payments exceeding Rs 3.23 lakh crore and ensured that more than 105 of the state’s 122 sugar mills were transferring payments directly into farmers’ bank accounts within four to five days.
The Chief Minister further asserted that legislative discussions over the past nine years had played a significant role in shaping government policies.
He said Uttar Pradesh had progressed from being categorised as a BIMARU state to becoming a revenue-surplus economy and claimed that over six crore people had been brought out of poverty during this period.
The opening day of the Monsoon Session began with members singing the complete version of Vande Mataram.
The Assembly then paid tributes to sitting and former legislators who had passed away since the previous session.
Among those remembered was senior Samajwadi Party MLA Alam Badi Azm, who was the oldest serving member of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
After the obituary references, the House was adjourned for the day.

राम मंदिर चंदा विवाद शिक्षा और किसानों के मुद्दों पर योगी सरकार को घेरने की SP की कोशिश विधानसभा का मानसून सत्र शुरू
लखनऊ: उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा के मानसून सत्र की शुरुआत सोमवार को विपक्ष के तीखे तेवरों के साथ हुई।
समाजवादी पार्टी के विधायकों ने विधानसभा परिसर के बाहर प्रदर्शन कर भाजपा सरकार को राम मंदिर चंदा विवाद शिक्षा व्यवस्था किसानों की समस्याओं और नीट परीक्षा से जुड़े मुद्दों पर घेरने का प्रयास किया।
सत्र शुरू होने से पहले समाजवादी पार्टी के विधायक विधान भवन के बाहर एकत्र हुए। उनके हाथों में तख्तियां थीं और वे सरकार के खिलाफ नारे लगा रहे थे।
प्रदर्शन के दौरान पार्टी ने राम मंदिर चंदा प्रकरण शिक्षा व्यवस्था किसानों की स्थिति तथा नीट परीक्षा में कथित गड़बड़ियों को प्रमुख मुद्दा बनाया।
विरोध प्रदर्शन को प्रतीकात्मक रूप देने के लिए कुछ विधायक दान पेटियां लेकर पहुंचे जिन्हें राम मंदिर के चंदे की कथित चोरी के आरोपों से जोड़ा गया।
वहीं कुछ विधायक सिर और हाथ पर पट्टियां तथा प्लास्टर बांधकर पहुंचे ताकि दिल्ली में नीट परीक्षा के विरोध में प्रदर्शन करने वाले छात्रों पर कथित बल प्रयोग का मुद्दा उठाया जा सके।
शिक्षा के मुद्दे को प्रमुखता देने के लिए पार्टी नेताओं ने ऐसे पोस्टर भी प्रदर्शित किए जिनमें सरकार पर शिक्षा व्यवस्था को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया गया।
प्रदर्शन में रामपुर स्थित मोहम्मद अली जौहर विश्वविद्यालय को दिए गए ध्वस्तीकरण नोटिस तथा सरकारी विद्यालयों में शिक्षकों की संख्या घटाए जाने के आरोपों का भी उल्लेख किया गया।
समाजवादी पार्टी की विधायक रागिनी सोनकर ने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी विधानसभा के भीतर राम मंदिर चंदा विवाद पर विस्तृत चर्चा की मांग करेगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार को मंदिर के चंदे से जुड़े आरोपों पर जवाब देना चाहिए और साथ ही शिक्षा व्यवस्था तथा किसानों की समस्याओं पर भी सदन में चर्चा करानी चाहिए।
समाजवादी पार्टी के विधायक सचिन यादव माथे पर पट्टी और एक हाथ पर प्लास्टर बांधकर विधानसभा पहुंचे।
उन्होंने कहा कि उनका यह प्रतीकात्मक प्रदर्शन नीट परीक्षा में कथित पेपर लीक और उसके विरोध में प्रदर्शन करने वाले छात्रों पर हुए कथित लाठीचार्ज के मुद्दे को उठाने के लिए था।
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने विपक्ष के आरोपों का जवाब देते हुए राम मंदिर चंदा विवाद को लेकर समाजवादी पार्टी पर तीखा हमला बोला।
उन्होंने कहा कि आरोप लगाने वाले लोगों ने मंदिर निर्माण के लिए अपनी ओर से एक रुपया तक नहीं दिया और अब वही लोग इस मुद्दे पर राजनीति कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने इसे दोहरे मापदंड का उदाहरण बताया।
सत्र शुरू होने से पहले मीडिया से बातचीत में मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी घोषणा की कि लंबे समय से प्रस्तावित आउटसोर्सिंग आयोग अगले एक से डेढ़ सप्ताह के भीतर कार्य करना शुरू कर देगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार आउटसोर्स कर्मचारियों के लिए न्यूनतम मानदेय सुनिश्चित करेगी और आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं आशा बहनों रसोइयों तथा ग्राम चौकीदारों के लिए भी अनुपूरक बजट के माध्यम से कल्याणकारी योजनाएं जारी रखेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने विपक्ष से सदन की कार्यवाही को सुचारु रूप से चलाने में सहयोग देने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि किसानों युवाओं महिलाओं और गरीबों से जुड़े विषयों पर चर्चा के लिए विधानसभा सबसे उपयुक्त मंच है।
उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि सभी दल नकारात्मक राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर रचनात्मक बहस में भाग लेंगे।
किसानों के मुद्दे पर अपनी सरकार की उपलब्धियां गिनाते हुए योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि वर्ष 2007 से 2017 के बीच 29 चीनी मिलें बंद हुईं और 21 मिलों को बेहद कम कीमत पर बेच दिया गया था।
इसके विपरीत उनकी सरकार ने गन्ना किसानों को 3.23 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का भुगतान कराया है और राज्य की 122 चीनी मिलों में से 105 से अधिक मिलें अब चार से पांच दिन के भीतर किसानों के खातों में सीधे भुगतान कर रही हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी दावा किया कि पिछले नौ वर्षों में विधानसभा में हुई चर्चाओं ने नीतियों के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश अब बीमारू राज्य की छवि से बाहर निकलकर राजस्व अधिशेष वाला प्रदेश बन चुका है और इस अवधि में छह करोड़ से अधिक लोगों को गरीबी से बाहर लाया गया है।
मानसून सत्र के पहले दिन सदन की कार्यवाही पूर्ण वंदे मातरम् के गायन के साथ शुरू हुई। इसके बाद पिछले सत्र के बाद दिवंगत हुए वर्तमान और पूर्व विधायकों को श्रद्धांजलि दी गई।
श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित किए गए नेताओं में समाजवादी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ विधायक आलम बड़ी आजमी भी शामिल थे जो विधानसभा के सबसे वरिष्ठ सदस्य थे।
शोक प्रस्तावों के बाद सदन की कार्यवाही दिनभर के लिए स्थगित कर दी गई।
